“I can still have a career and still be a wife and still be a mom and still have 10 different hats on my head.”
Reetal Gordhan, winner of the WA Woman in Franchising Award 2024, was nominated by her head office in Queensland and proudly represents InXpress, a logistics company operating both internationally and domestically.
Speaking about the application process, Reetal said:
“I was really excited to apply when I was nominated by my head office in Queensland. And when I looked at the questions, I was like, wow, this is quite intense. It really made me think about the questions and it actually helped me to dig deeper down into my thoughts and why I actually [was] wanting to apply for this as well. And just to grow my business and my goals… I thought it was absolutely excellent.”
Since winning the award, she shared:
“They really thought that I deserved to win as well. So, yeah, it’s really just taken me to another level and just to put a lot more confidence in myself on what I can actually do as well as a woman and in my own business and just grow in my own career.”
And to others thinking of applying?
“I would say, go for it. Put everything you have into it. I took quite a few weeks to answer my questions. I put a lot of effort into it and take each question and just think about it and give it all you have because you never know what you’re capable of doing. And I would say I would encourage every single woman to apply for it. It’s amazing.”
Congratulations again to Reetal for her well-earned recognition and inspiring words.
