Spotlighting Future Leaders: WA Apprentice of the Year 2025 Nominations Now Open

Apprentices are the future of the workforce — bringing energy, commitment, and fresh ideas to the industries they’re shaping. At FranchisingWA, we believe in celebrating those who go above and beyond during their apprenticeship journey.

That’s why we’re proud to announce that nominations are now open for the WA Apprentice of the Year 2025 as part of this year’s Franchise Industry Awards.

Recognising Dedication and Growth

This award recognises an exceptional individual currently undertaking or recently completing an apprenticeship within a Western Australian franchise network. We’re looking for apprentices who have shown:

  • Dedication to their training and development

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Initiative, adaptability, and a positive contribution to their team

  • Clear potential for future leadership in their industry

Whether they’re just getting started or have recently completed their apprenticeship, this is a chance to acknowledge the hard work and impact of rising talent in WA’s franchise sector.

Who Can Enter?

The WA Apprentice of the Year award is open to anyone who:

  • Is currently completing an apprenticeship or completed one in the 12 months prior to 1 June 2025

  • Works within a Western Australia-based franchise network, across any industry

Apprentices can self-nominate or be nominated by an employer, trainer, or colleague who wants to recognise their efforts.

What’s Included?

Finalists and winners will be celebrated at our Gala Awards Dinner on:

Date: Tuesday, 16 September 2025
Time: 6:00 PM – 11:59 PM AWST
Location: Beaumonde On The Point, Perth

Nomination includes a ticket to the event, where WA’s best in franchising will come together to recognise excellence, innovation, and emerging leaders.

Key Dates

  • Applications close: Friday, 1 August 2025 at 2:00 PM AWST

  • Awards Night: Tuesday, 16 September 2025
